Overview
This help page explains all the operations that can be done to maximize fun working with your SnapGalaxy account. You can easily add & view photos, categorize the photos into different albums, describe the photos, share the albums & photos with friends etc.. |

Creating an Album
Congratulations on your SnapGalaxy account. To create an album,
- Go to “My Albums” page by clicking on “My Albums” button in top blue bar.
- Click “Create New Album” link appeared in sub-menu.
- Provide a name and description for your album. Set your album's accesslevel and printing preferences by selecting appropriate options. Click “Create & add Photos” button.
- A new album is created.

Adding Photos
Now, you’ve created an album succesfully and ready to add the photos. Photos can be added in three ways: (a) using Universal Uploader Tool (b) using Quick Uploader tool or (c) One by One (max 10 at a time). Remember, you can only add images created in JPEG or JPG format.

Or follow the steps as described below:
To add the photos, using Universal Uploader tool (All browsers supported),
- Go to “My Albums” page by clicking on “My Albums” button in top blue bar.
- Select the album by clicking it once and click on "Add to Album" link on sub-menu
- Universal uploader will activate on all non-IE browsers by default.
- If you choose to use this uploader on IE browser, then click "Universal Flash Uploader" link.
- Click "Add Photos" to select the photos from your local computer folder or external media. Click "Upload" once done with selection. There is no limitation of number of photos that you can upload.
To add the photos, using Quick Uploader tool (for Internet Explorer Users only),
- Go to “My Albums” page by clicking on “My Albums” button in top blue bar.
- Select the album by clicking it once and click on "Add to Album" link on sub-menu
- If this is the first time you are accessing this website on this internet browser, you will be prompted to install our plug-in software. Please say "Yes" to install. Please be patient for the first time, it may take a little while to install this plug-in. Subsequent access afterwards will not take longer as the installation will only take place once.
- Once plug-in is installed, you will see the embedded explorer-like screen on this page. Select the folder/drive where the photos are stored. Select as many photos as you want or use "Select All" button. Click on "Upload photos". There is no limitation of number of photos that you can upload.
To add the photos, if adding one-by-one,
- Go to “My Albums” page by clicking on “My Albums” button in top blue bar.
- Select the album by clicking it once and click on "Add to Album" link on sub-menu
- On “Add Photos” page, specify photo’s location by clicking Browse button.
- Click “Add Photos” button and wait to upload finished. Upload time varies based on your internet connection. Usually, it takes about less than a minute to add one 1M sized JPEG image with broadband internet connection.

Viewing Photos
To view photos you’ve added,

Or follow the steps as described below:
- Go to “My Albums” page by clicking on “My Albums” button in top blue bar.
- Click on album image to view photos.
- You will see thumbnails of all the photos.
- Click on a thumbnail to see the enlarged photo.
- A slideshow of all the photos in an album can be viewed by clicking on “Play Slideshow” button.

Sharing photos with Friends
With SnapGalaxy, you can share the photos with Friends using the "Share Album" operation
To share the album with friends,
- Click on “My Albums” tab located in top blue bar menu.
- Select the album you like to share with friends.
- Click the "Share album" link from sub-menu.
- On the next page, Type-in email addresses of your friends into the text box. You can also click on “Add From AddressBook” link to select the friends from your address book. Edit the message or title of the email. Click “Send”.
- The recipients will receive an email with invitation to view the shared photos.

Viewing a SlideShow
To view a slideshow,
- Click on album image under “My Albums” page.
- Click on “Play Slideshow” button to view all the photos of this album.

Editing Photos
To edit the title or description of the photos,
- Click on album image under “My Albums” page.
- Select the photos by checking the checkboxes next to the thumbnails.
- Click on “Edit Titles & Desc” from sub-menu.
- Type-in the new title and/or description into the text box provided along with the thumbnail. Click “Save Photos Details”.
